I will be changing my characters costumes, hair and makeup, for each separate time change. This way the audience will be able to see that days and times change throughout the trailer. At the minute the characters are wearing their moving in clothes, they need a change.
Due to the cast changing, I will only be having two characters now, this will be the main character and the victim.
The main character is Luke Bolton, his costume consists of:
- Dark jacket
- Dark trousers
- Dark shoes
- V for Vendetta mask
The victim character is India Whiteley, her costume consists of:
- Casual, everyday clothing
- T-shirt
- Hoodie
- Flat shoes

Camera Issues
Unfortunately I am unable to get a camera to use over Christmas. Instead of filming I'm going to get on with the other aspects of the task, such as my website and digipack. Over Christmas I'm going to see if I can borrow a camera from college so that I can take pictures for my digipack.

First draft which is rubbish and needs re-shooting, half the shots are missing and so are the sounds
Positives:
I love the opening shot of my trailer, because the car lights makes the house look a little spooky.
I also like the shadowing of the girl on the door in the hallway.
Negatives:
The shots are all too dark.
It's more like a short film rather than a trailer.
Sounds need putting on.
Need to shoot in the day time and edit on the edit suite to make it look like the night time.

Re-shoot
The re-shoot is taking place this
week, after re-planning the shoot time, I will now be using lighting as on the
previous shoot it was way too dark. Learning from my previous mistakes, the
shots should now be a lot more visible.
Update
I still need to sort out my
sounds and music for my film trailer. I have been using YouTube to search for
different sounds, and sounds that have been used in other film trailers. I have
come across some that I may use, however I feel that I could probably find some
better ones to use. I found a website called ****** this site allows you to use
the sounds provide, all you have to do is download them onto your computer.

Re-shooting
After uploading my filming onto
the edit suite, I have come to realise that all the shots are way too dark.
When I start to re-shoot, I will definitely have to lighten up the shooting
area with lights that I borrow from college. Due to the lighting been very low, you are
unable to see facial expressions clearly and what is going on. Some of my shots
are too long so I will definitely be using some close ups to shorten the shots.
I will be re-shooting my footage on Wednesday 12th December

Time table
Unfortunately my cast can only
film on certain days/nights due to personal activities outside of college. So
Over the weekend I asked each of them what times they were available. Vicky can film on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and
Thursday. Beth is available to film on a Thursday and Liv still hasn't got back
to me!
Audience Feedback for Sinister
I asked some of my peers to watch
the film trailer ‘Sinister’. I recorded their reactions then asked them several
questions.
1) Did you like the trailer?
2) Opinions e.g. horrible, scary?
3) What genre is the trailer?
4) Would you go see it in cinema?
